Originally founded in 1993 as Alpha Video of Rockville, Maryland, we have been pleasing customers for over 18 years with our special handling of their most precious memories. Although the process has changed over the years, we have always been committed to giving our customers the highest possible quality film to dvd transfers, limited only by the technology available at the time.

We started out using real-time projectors and recording to VHS or Beta video tape. In 2002, we began capturing and editing film using Mac computers, then burning to DVD. Since 2004 however, we have been using frame-by-frame capture equipment, which is the newest technology available for converting 8mm to dvd. The images are crisp and detailed and the color is stunningly vivid.

We have never based our business on price alone. Our goal is not to get every potential film to dvd customer to do business with us.  We would rather do fewer jobs and concentrate our efforts on getting those jobs done right than to be in such a hurry that we cannot put forth our best effort on each one.

We know that no two customers are alike and that a "one-size-fits-all" approach to film to video transfers doesn't work for everybody.
